Associate Degrees at Montreat College


The advanced Montreat College associate degree program is specifically designed for working adults who are managing school while also maintaining their personal and professional lives. The associate degree program is efficient and effective for adult student studying in a variety of disciplines. Adult students who earn their Montreat College associate degree may graduate with the accredited distinction or move on to the accredited Montreat College bachelor’s degree program.

Associate of Science in Business


Degree Description
The Associate of Science provides the foundation courses for those who are starting at the freshman sophomore level in the arts and sciences. It also provides introductory courses in management and business principles for those pursuing the business concentration, and education electives for those who prefer the education concentration.

Associate of Science in Education


Degree Description
The Associate in Science (AS) provides a solid foundation in the arts and sciences in addition to introductory courses in a chosen concentration of business, education, or general studies. Upon completion of the program, students are able to explain the basic principles of their concentration, demonstrate critical thinking skills, and use effective oral and written communication techniques.
